Where Does the Steering Committee Stand with the Proposed New Constitution?

The referendum on the new Constitution was supposed to take place at the beginning of this May. That will not happen. While the Steering Committee responsible for working on the new Constitution has not officially addressed the population, two members of this structure spoke with Le Nouvelliste on Monday. Their statements to the newspaper suggest that there is tension within the Committee, which is not conducive to a calm environment for producing a universally accepted outcome.
